What you'll do:
- Planning & Scheduling
- ➢ Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to outline tasks, durations, and dependencies
- ➢ Collaborate with Technical project managers, engineers, supply chain, production and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and establish WBS, activities and set duration with realistic logic ties
- ➢ Analyze project scope, objectives, and constraints to identify critical path activities and potential risks
- ➢ Conduct schedule analysis, including critical path analysis, float analysis, and "what-if" scenarios, to identify potential delays and recommend mitigation strategies
- Cost Controls
- ➢ Establish and maintain project cost baselines, budgets and forecasts
- ➢ Tracking project costs against the budget, identifying cost overruns, and implementing cost control measures
- ➢ Implement and manage earned value management (EVM) systems to measure project performance
- Risk Management
- ➢ Develop and maintain risk registers
- ➢ Monitor and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation actions
- ➢ Perform quantitative risk analysis (e.g. Montecarlo simulations) to assess schedule and cost contingencies
- Performance reporting
- ➢ Preparing regular project status reports, including earned value metrics, schedule performance, cost forecasts, and other key performance indicators
- ➢ Communicating project status and issues to project managers, stakeholders, and other team members
- ➢ Conduct regular progress meetings with project teams to review schedule updates, address concerns, and resolve conflicts
- ➢ Generate reports and Dashboards to communicate schedule status, performance metrics, and cost forecasts to project stakeholders
- Process improvement
- ➢ Continuously improve Scheduling & Cost processes and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
- ➢ Experience in time impact analysis to help the stakeholders understand the time impact of any possible risk that will yield into the proper decision
- ➢ Experience in resource allocation, equipment availability, and manpower requirements into project schedules

- Hands-on experience as a project controller in infrastructure capital projects, aerospace, manufacturing, Oil & gas or other complex projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in scheduling software: (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) , other scheduling tools will be a plus
- Experience with cost management and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Do
Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has the fastest, lowest cost path to commercial fusion energy.
CFS is collaborating with MIT to leverage decades of research combined with new groundbreaking high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnet technology. HTS magnets will enable compact fusion power plants that can be constructed faster and at lower cost. CFS is now building SPARC, the world's first commercially relevant, net energy fusion demonstration device. SPARC will pave the way for the first fusion power plant, ARC, that will produce power on the grid.
The ultimate mission is to deploy fusion power plants to meet global decarbonization goals as fast as possible. CFS has assembled a team of leaders in tough tech, fusion science, and manufacturing with a track record of rapid execution. Supported by the world’s leading investors, CFS is uniquely positioned to deliver limitless, clean, fusion power to combat climate change.
