About the Role:

Crusoe is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to play a key role in ensuring effective cost management in a fast-growing business. As a Project Controls Analyst, you will be focused on project tracking, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective actions. This role will provide support to project managers and teams across a portfolio of projects. Reporting to the Project Control Manager the individual will work closely with Procurement, Accounting and Finance teams.

This position will start as a temporary role for 90 days, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position based on performance and organizational needs.

A Day In The Life:

  • Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practices

  • Ensure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost coding

  • Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.

  • Track project actuals & EAC against baseline budgets

  • Monitor progress against milestones and identify potential issues and risks

  • Provide regular status report updates to project managers and stakeholders on project progress, including budget and schedule

  • Maintain organized project documentation

  • Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial impact and opportunities

  • Effectively utilize the right data, reports, and tools for analysis and benchmarking

You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • 2- 5 years of experience in cost controls or financial analysis.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to multi task and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environment

  • High level of professionalism

  • Experience in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry preferred

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $45 - $50/hr. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
