Primary Responsibilities
- Act as extension of the design team at the region by providing local information during the design development process.
- Monitor project execution for quality of workmanship and design fidelity.
- Act as an effective coordinator during execution stage thus engendering high levels of client satisfaction.
Role Description – Roles to be performed to fulfill the above responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in the design process by providing local support including but not limited to knowledge on local aspects, site analysis, research including data collection & bench marking studies.
- Have thorough understanding of the design intent and the GFC portfolio, ensure quality participation during execution stage.
- Document all design fidelity and quality issues in WSRs and escalate to the Project Head/ Regional Head when not attended to by vendor/client.
- Coordinate between client & design team to provide best possible design solutions to execution issues & build client confidence.
- Analyze successes and failures of projects by identifying execution issues not trapped in drawings.
- Grow professionally by achieving personal advancement goals.
- Work closely with the local team as well as the central studio to ensure smooth project deliveries.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of local site conditions, regulations, and construction practices
- Site analysis, data collection, and benchmarking
- Thorough understanding of design intent and project construction documents/GFC portfolio
- Ability to document design fidelity and quality issues (prepare WSRs) and escalate when necessary
- Coordinate between client, design team, and vendors to resolve execution issues
- Analyze execution issues not captured in drawings and recommend solutions
- Work collaboratively with local team and central studio to ensure project delivery
