Project Analyst - Metals and Mining

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transformation programmes within the Mining & Metals sector.

You will contribute to client engagements by analysing complex business challenges, supporting operational improvement initiatives, and helping clients make better strategic and operational decisions. Working alongside experienced consulting teams, you will build your expertise across operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability while making a tangible impact on client outcomes.

You will support high-impact client engagements, working alongside consulting teams to analyse operational challenges and contribute to practical, data-driven solutions.

You will play an important role in structuring analyses, supporting strategic decision-making, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping clients strengthen performance across complex industrial environments.

• Support consulting teams in the delivery of client engagements and project workstreams

• Analyse business processes, operational performance, risks, and data to identify improvement opportunities

• Support the development of frameworks, recommendations, and structured problem-solving approaches

• Participate in client meetings and workshops, contributing to issue identification and solution development

• Develop presentations, reports, dashboards, and executive-ready materials

• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and support project governance activities

• Support operational risk assessments and improvement initiatives

• Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and project management platforms to generate insights and support decision-making

• Contribute to stakeholder discussions and client deliverables

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, analytical tools, and digital solutions.

You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, business analytics, market intelligence, strategic planning, process improvement, or related fields

• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, operational improvement programmes, or business transformation projects

• Exposure to industrial operations, process management, or business performance initiatives is advantageous

• Experience working in consulting or corporate environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to structure complex information and translate data into actionable insights

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities

• Proactive, intellectually curious, and adaptable in fast-paced environments

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools

• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and project management methodologies

• Familiarity with business intelligence, analytics, and reporting tools

• Exposure to digital solutions, risk management, or operational efficiency initiatives is advantageous

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

• Fluency in English required
