Job Description
Main responsibilities
- Perform activities relating to project creation, maintenance, and project closure in line with the company systems & process
- Manage and follow timetable for various closing and reporting requirements relating to projects
- Assisting staff with timesheet queries and liaising with staff and managers to ensure that all timesheets are submitted on time
- Carrying out inter-project time and expense transfers
- Ensure correct revenue recognition on projects
- Facilitate project reviews to identify project risks, follow up on WIP, write-downs and claims handling
- Perform cost to complete analysis on projects and re-forecast the adjustments within system
- Ability to challenge and guide project managers in financial controls
- Manage financial risk related to projects
- Provide monthly commentary in project management tool (PMT) regarding project status
- Review and control overall financial performance of projects, project profitability and order book in the region
- Perform monthly detailed analysis on Order book and relevant profitability
- Coordination with shared service team on preparation of internal and external invoicing and credit notes to the clients
- Follow up with clients on overdue invoices on selective basis
- Provie support in maintenance of contract documents, agreement, variation orders
- Train Project Managers on Financial Project Management and build relationships with Project Managers to support them in financial compliance
- Provide support in developing and implementing controls, review, and checklists to ensure adequate processes are in place
- Perform other duties and responsibilities – adhoc as assigned
Qualifications
•Ability to manage stakeholders at medium-level projects with limited supervision
•Manager’s assessment of ability to undertake above responsibilities
•4 plus years of relevant experience.
