Freese and Nichols Inc, is looking for a Operations Analyst in Houston, Texas with experience in project accounting with a primary focus on contract review, project maintenance, revenue recognition, and project invoicing.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up of projects in the accounting system, reviewing and maintaining project-related documents, including contracts and amendments, revenue recognition, reviewing and approving timesheets, data analysis, and processing invoices that align with client and contract requirements.
- Occasional travel between offices is required, as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance role.
- Familiarity with Accounting software.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, and attention to detail with the capability of working independently.
Preferred
- Prior experience within the Architect/Engineering industry preferred.
- Prior experience with BST10 Accounting Software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
