Summary
Willdan is seeking a Project Accountant II to join our team, reporting to the Division Controller of a growing, publicly traded company. This role will manage financial data sets tied to invoices, work orders, and project statuses, including capital projects for Fortune 500 clients. This position is an in-office role based in Alpharetta, GA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Track, manage, and reconcile financial data, including invoices, work orders, and project statuses.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
- Participate in financial reporting and month-end close processes.
- Manage capital projects for large corporate clients.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience.
- Direct experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar data management tools.
- Experience with Costpoint (Deltek) or other GL software.
