Job SummaryProvides program support for DoD ammunition/munition production programs through working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. Keeps all stakeholders informed of developments on the projects/programs covering the full range of the program's life cycle. ***We are currently recruiting for Program Manager II and Program Manager III opportunities. - Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
- Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications. Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. Professional contracting certifications at the state or national levels.
- Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirements.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
