Job Description

As a programmer at LUCKYHAMMERS you don’t just “code” the game, you bring it to life! The fun factor is an incredibly important part of our games and it is part of a programmer’s job to collaborate with the team to being this to life in the features we develop. You will be involved in all the stages of a game’s development and work on features, systems, and tools. Does this sound like something you'd like to do? This job is for you if:

You love writing code with Unreal and/or Unity. You want to create and improve tools to support specific features and systems within a game. You want to work in close collaboration with different teams like artists and game designers. You are able to be in charge the architecture of major features and modules within a game.

The successful candidate will have written more lines of code that he can count, been held at (nerf) gun point and know how to add that extra touch to a feature to make it as good as it should be. Autonomy, creativity and proactiveness is key as you will work in an empowering environment that encourages its talent to bring ideas to the table.

Qualifications

You have:

  • B.S. in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years gaming industry (or related) programming experience.
  • Experience in object oriented coding (C#/C++)
  • Experience with Unreal/Unity
  • Experience on a complete game production cycle;
  • Experience in console dev team is a major asset.
