Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

Programme Lead, Sustainability & Regulatory Change - The role:

Join Linklaters’ Business Change team as a Programme Lead, driving our Sustainability and Regulatory Change value stream. This is a key leadership position within our Portfolio and Programme Management Centre of Excellence, overseeing firmwide initiatives that deliver measurable value and align with our strategic goals.

You will:

  • Lead and deliver complex, high-impact programmes from business case through to sustainable implementation.
  • Oversee a team of expert Project Managers, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and successful change adoption.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritise initiatives, collaborating closely with senior leadership.
  • Champion process optimisation, technology adoption, and organisational transformation across the firm

Programme Lead, Sustainability & Regulatory Change - What we're looking for:

We’re seeking an experienced programme leader who combines robust delivery skills with deep subject matter knowledge in sustainability and regulatory change.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience (5+ years) managing large-scale programmes and projects, ideally within a global professional services or legal environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering programmes addressing new regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
  • Formal programme/project management qualifications (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, APM).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • A passion for driving positive change, solution-oriented thinking, and a commitment to best practice.
  • Forward-thinking, collaborative, and inclusive mindset aligned with Linklaters’ values.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact through well-executed change, and have the expertise to lead on both delivery and subject matter, we’d love to hear from you.
