Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead strategic real estate and infrastructure initiatives in the North Coast, Egypt region. This is a senior leadership position for a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in real estate development and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will drive program strategy, oversee complex project portfolios, and deliver transformational results that align with organizational objectives and market opportunities in the North Coast area.
- Develop and execute comprehensive program strategies for real estate and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and market dynamics
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects and portfolios, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve delivery milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing decisive direction and motivational leadership to drive program success
- Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform strategic decision-making and program planning
- Manage regulatory compliance, permitting, and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles
- Monitor program performance against key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and agreements with vendors, contractors, and government entities
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Present program updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the real estate and infrastructure sectors in the North Coast region
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in real estate development and/or infrastructure project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs and complex projects from conception through completion
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, program management, and portfolio management
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and financial forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of construction management, development processes, and real estate market dynamics
- Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in the Egyptian market or similar emerging markets is highly desirable
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments
