Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, motivated and proactive Programmatic Ad Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Programmatic Ad Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our programmatic audio ad marketplace. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of ad operations, ensuring seamless execution, and maximizing the performance of our programmatic ad channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical aspects of ad operations, including deal creation, sales channel performance, and publisher revenue performance
- Monitor and analyze marketplace performance, making data-driven decisions to improve demand partner and publisher performance
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales and Solutions Engineering to ensure demand partner and publisher goals and objectives are achieved
- Analyze reporting to track metrics, such as bid efficiency, win rate, impressions, price and fill rate
- Execute regular testing to best understand how to maximize performance
- Collaborate with external partners, such as ad networks, DSPs, publishers, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless integration and marketplace performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that company business objections are achieved
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments related to programmatic advertising and ad operations
- Onboard supply using SoundStack internal systems, working with the Solutions Engineering team to ensure inventory is properly mapped to SoundStack Marketplace
- Manage quality of inventory, including regularly updating blacklists
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in programmatic advertising and ad operations, with a strong understanding of ad-serving platforms, supply-side platforms (SSPs), demand-side-platforms (DSPs), and programmatic ecosystem
- Experience in programmatic audio advertising and audio ad platforms is a plus
- A passionate, proactive approach to understanding and improving performance
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools, such as DOMO, is a plus
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising
- Understanding of VAST, openRTB
