Position Overview:

 

As a Program Manager within the Operational Excellence Team you will have the ability to drive the strategic initiatives that help us achieve epic scale. In this role, you will oversee interconnected and cross-functional projects that build and contribute to larger, longer-term business objectives. You will act as a strong strategic partner for our leadership team, working with cross-functional teams to implement interconnected projects, manage and report on their progress, and ultimately drive the organization's progress in achieving its goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate project plans, goals, and objectives in partnership with the program sponsor, leads, and stakeholders

  • Drive strategic roadmap for program milestones, features, enabling technology, and organizational change adoption

  • Facilitate and communicate the WHY of each program, including its overall vision and direction, and desired impact

  • Oversee program plans including tracking of progress and changes

  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules

  • Organize critical activities and information to facilitate efficient decision making

  • Provide oversight and guidance to the team around projects of the highest priority and importance

  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams, both internal and external, to enable the success of your program and others

  • Identify and manage dependencies between strategic initiatives and projects

  • Effectively identify and address risks and issues for timely resolution

  • Manage and complete assigned work plan objectives and projects on a timely basis

  • Contribute to the production of program reports, materials, and content

  • Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process

  • Champion program and project management best practices that will drive consistency in a variety of PPM methodologies including Waterfall, Kanban, Agile, Scrum, and SAFe

  • The ability to build impactful, mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Bachelor's Degree or Graduate's Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or information systems or equivalent experience

  • One or more related certifications - CAPM, PMP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe 5

  • 3 + years' experience managing complex projects and programs within Information Technology or a SaaS company

  • Business and workflow mapping experience is considered a plus
