We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage complex projects in the medical device sector. This role demands a strong engineering background combined with a solid understanding of quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin, possess experience in managing projects in the medical device industry, and be prepared for up to 50% travel.
As a Technical Program Manager at Eko, You Will:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects related to medical devices such as
- New Product Introduction (NPI), Sustaining Engineering, Supplier Qualification while ensuring they meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including contract manufacturers, and sub-tier suppliers. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Evaluate and oversee overseas manufacturing processes to identify and implement optimization opportunities, ensuring improved product quality, reduced production costs, and compliance with safety.
- Provide New Product Introduction (NPI) support by ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly, collaborating with design and engineering teams to identify
- potential production issues and improve overall efficiency and quality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including quality and regulatory records. Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Travel: Manage project activities across various locations with a travel requirement of up to 50%.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and manage resources to deliver projects within financial and resource constraints.
As a Technical Program Manager at Eko, You Have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in program or project management within the medical device industry, with a strong background in quality assurance.
- Quality Assurance Knowledge: Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA, and CE marking.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering principles, medical device development processes, and project management methodologies. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and manufacturing production environments is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
- Personal Attributes: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high standard of quality. Ownership and oversight of projects.
