India Child Protection (ICP), established in 2005, is a leading civil society organisation committed to preventing child sexual exploitation, trafficking, child marriage, and all forms of violence against children. Through research, technology, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, ICP strengthens child protection systems across India.

Working across 416 districts in 29 States and Union Territories, ICP collaborates with government agencies, law enforcement, the judiciary, and civil society organisations to build a safer future for every child.

Job Role:- The Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring programmes to ensure high-quality delivery, measurable outcomes, and sustainable impact. The role involves managing programme teams, coordinating with government and partner organisations, overseeing programme budgets and reporting, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organisational policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:-

Programme Planning & Implementation
  • Plan, implement, and oversee programme activities in line with approved work plans.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Ensure programmes are delivered efficiently, effectively, and within timelines.
  • Coordinate programme activities across multiple locations.
Programme Management
  • Monitor programme progress and ensure achievement of objectives and deliverables.
  • Track programme indicators and prepare periodic progress reports.
  • Identify implementation challenges and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure quality assurance and continuous programme improvement.
Team Coordination
  • Supervise and support programme staff and consultants.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and review programme progress.
  • Build staff capacity through coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.
  • Foster collaboration across programme and support teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government departments, civil society organizations, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure effective programme implementation.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings, workshops, consultations, and relevant forums.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEAL)
  • Support implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret programme data.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
  • Ensure timely submission of programme reports.
Budget & Resource Management
  • Monitor programme budgets and expenditure.
  • Ensure efficient utilisation of programme resources.
  • Support financial planning and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate with Finance for financial reporting and compliance.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, organisational policies, safeguarding standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Identify programme risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Maintain accurate programme documentation and records.

Educational Qualification
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, Public Policy, Sociology, Public Administration, Rural Development, or a related discipline.
  • Certification in Project Management, Programme Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related fields will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in programme management within the development or child protection sector.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and donor-funded programmes.
  • Experience working with government agencies, civil society organisations, and community-based programmes is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in programme planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
Technical Skills
