Key Duties & Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of program plans, including defining program objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and the smooth execution of program activities.
- Operational Management (Manage the full cycle of Project Management design, execution, organizational strategies, facilitate, etc)
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Track and report on program expenses and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Monitor program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics. Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Ensure that all program deliverables meet quality standards and align with the organization’s objectives and client expectations.
- Contribute to the development of proposals and documents for new projects
- Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization.
- Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes.
- Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Years of Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in the impact/ NGO space with 3 or more of these in a management capacity
Skills required to perform the Job:
- Experience executing large scale - multi-million dollar programs successfully
- Experience working in Uganda is desirable
- Ability to converse with different levels of professionals
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the program (e.g., healthcare, technology, nonprofit) is an advantage.
Competencies
- Proven work experience in program coordination, execution and management
- Demonstrated experience in establishing strategic project management.
- Management of different levels of sub-teams and operation levels
- Experience working with stakeholders at various levels and establishing strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record in program management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of partnership initiatives.
Skills Required
