Senior Technical Project Manager – Cybersecurity & Privacy Compliance

Overview:
Are you a strategic, detail-driven leader passionate about advancing secure IT initiatives? We’re seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to spearhead high-impact cybersecurity, privacy compliance, and cloud-based transformation efforts within a complex DoD environment. This role is ideal for a mission-focused professional ready to lead at the intersection of secure cloud architecture, cyber workforce development, and data privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects in Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) environments, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and regulatory standards.
- Drive cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, privacy, and IT domains to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and risk assessments for complex enterprise initiatives.
- Support cyber workforce development and management, aligning skills and training with DoD standards and emerging threats.
- Oversee privacy compliance programs, ensuring adherence to federal and DoD data protection policies.
- Coordinate technical acquisition efforts, contribute to business case development, and engage stakeholders through clear, confident communication.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and executive leadership, translating complex concepts into actionable plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience; 1 additional year may substitute for degree)
- 10+ years of experience in Technical or IT Project Management, including recent experience in:
- Cyber Workforce Development & Management
- Privacy Compliance Management
- SCCA project leadership
- Active IAT II+ or IAM II certification
- PMP, PBA, or PMP specialization
- Strong understanding of DoD security frameworks and enterprise IT environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire cross-disciplinary teams
