The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $116,640 to $145,800

Job Summary
This position will be supporting Avangrid's portfolio of CLCPA Projects. The Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) stems from New York State’s Climate Act with a goal to reduce economy-wide greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2030 (no less than 85% of 1990 levels by 2050) and 70% State’s Energy from renewable resources by 2030 (100% from zero emissions Electric Sources by 2040). The electric delivery system in New York contains approximately 5,600 miles of transmission lines & 621 substations. Position reports to the Schedule Cost Control Manager but will work day-to-day in a cross functional project team and support project needs.
The Integrated Scheduler Program Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of costs and control of schedules within PNY portfolio of projects. Responsible for creating and keeping all project schedules current. This includes partnering and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders to help coordinate planning, design, execution, monitoring and closeout of complex substation and line projects. The Program Manager will lead the integrated management of cost, schedule, and risk across a portfolio of transmission electric projects. This role ensures strategic alignment, proactive risk mitigation, and informed decision-making through robust program controls and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory milestones.
- Partner with the scheduling team to enforce consistency, accuracy, and adherence to program goals across all project schedules.
- Apply advanced scheduling techniques (e.g., critical path method, earned value management) to monitor progress, forecast outcomes, and identify deviations.
Risk Management
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management plans, integrating schedule and cost risk analysis.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact program delivery, including regulatory, environmental, and stakeholder-related risks.
- Facilitate risk workshops and maintain a dynamic risk register to support decision-making and contingency planning.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison among internal teams, external consultants, legal, utilities, regulatory agencies, and key customers to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively to all stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
Leadership & Governance
- Oversee the scheduling team’s performance, mentoring staff and promoting best practices in schedule development and control.
- Present integrated cost, schedule, and risk reports to executive leadership, enabling data-driven decisions and strategic prioritization.
- Investigate and report on schedule and cost variances, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business or related field required.
- 8+ years of experience in project scheduling, program planning, or project controls within complex, cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of schedule management methodologies, including Critical Path Method (CPM) and risk analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead scheduling teams and develop standardized scheduling practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience presenting leadership and translating technical data into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
