Program Manager II

Akamai India’s CSR initiatives focus on driving sustainable social impact through education, inclusion, community development, and water. The Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of Akamai India’s CSR portfolio, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact programs aligned with the organization’s CSR strategy.

You will manage multiple complex projects and guide multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver against key business goals. As a program manager, you will lead the cross-functional alignment of the entire product lifecycle. Your contribution will be critical to the success of the team and to Akamai's business.

As a Program Manager II you will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement high-level strategies to advance Akamai CSR objectives of improving lives and livelihoods in India across Education, Inclusion, Community Development, and Water.

• Establish and maintain robust governance structures and processes to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with India regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing Akamai CSR operations and activities.

• Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of CSR initiatives.

• Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, corporations, social enterprises, academia, and community-based organizations.

• Capture and curate volunteer stories, photographs, and impact highlights to strengthen internal engagement and showcase program outcomes.

• Create compelling impact stories, event recaps, and communication assets that highlight CSR initiatives and employee volunteering efforts.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging before, during, and after CSR activities and events, reinforcing program visibility and employee engagement.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

• Minimum of 7–8 years of experience in CSR program management, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable social impact.

• Strong understanding of the education, inclusion, community development, and water sectors.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action, manage multiple priorities, and drive cross-functional collaboration
