Job Summary:

The role of Program Manager, ESG PMO, is an important role in the company's Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The ESG PMO vertical requires experience and expertise in project and program management with experience and or aptitude in climate and carbon emissions abatement projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Program Manager to join our team specializing in ESG and carbon emissions. This role will be responsible for managing emissions abatement projects with stakeholders across our global network and ensuring that initiatives are well defined, meet or exceed our emissions goals, and are aligned with our company objectives and climate commitments. This role is high profile within our organization and will require partnership and collaboration with all levels of employees.

What You'll Do

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Program and Project Management:
    • Lead projects and programs to ensure success in each of the project's nine knowledge areas: Integration, budget, scope, schedule, quality, resources, communications, risk, and procurement, and deliver change management.
    • Author project documents (e.g., charter, project plan, risk register, risk plan, communications plan, etc.), and design and lead project activities (e.g., requirements gathering, reviews, project meetings, etc.)
    • Manage the critical path through on-going meetings with diverse stakeholders, program champions, project sponsors and their teams to ensure delivery of projects and programs on time, in scope, and within budget.
  • Research and Business Case Development:
    • Provide secondary research on abatement ideas for consumption by stakeholders, conduct prioritization sessions and recommend phasing of selected programs.
    • Prepare and author business cases in collaboration with program champions.
    • Develop approach to assess environmental impact (emissions reductions) of proposed programs and roll-out selected programs to all company locations.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Create informative and visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Present data-driven recommendations for improving abatement performance and reducing environmental impact.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key performance indicators and trends.
    • Ensure requirements traceability through expert documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ESG.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements in assigned projects and programs.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, operations, technology, and others, to ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in business administration, communications, project management, engineering, data science, statistics, environmental science, or related field.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in program and project management 10+ years
  • Experience in project management tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Certification (or near-term exam-ready) in one or more of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP®), Program Management Professional (PgMP®), or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP®). Lean Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.
  • Track record of successful delivery of business and technology projects.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), with experience in portfolio and project management (PPM) tools.

Requirements

  • Driver's license for property-to-property travel
  • Willing to travel on project assignments, as needed (
  • This role can be physically challenging and requires physical strength and stamina during site visits and audits, and that may require long hours
  • Candidate must be located in Las Vegas.

$139,335-$258,765

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
