Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a contract supportingour federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity engineering support. It directly supports the customer's Information Security Branch (ISB) responsible for providing Cybersecurity and Information Assurance support to include management of the Security Authorization process, policy and security requirements, compliance certification and vulnerability analysis to ensure authorized customer systems meet FISMA requirements. This program provides administrative security support, security evaluation, risk management, and security monitoring and incident response services for customer supported initiatives.
The specific tasks areas supported on this contract include: contract task management, security assessments, risk management services, incident response, and administrative security support. Services include supporting current and future cyber capabilities system and development and sustainment efforts using Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and DevSecOps methodologies while collaborating with Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCIO) and CSD stakeholders, business owners and industry partners.
The ideal Program Manager should possess strong leadership skills, a strategic and adaptable approach needed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage and inspire teams to deliver results. A quality candidate should also have a strong understanding of Agile concepts and embrace the concept of servant leadership and being an agent of change, as part of a larger team.
The Program Manager will be the responsible for:

  • Overall program leadership and execution; organizing all services pertaining to this contract.
  • Oversight of all technical and operational functions - planning, organizing, and managing resources to complete all contract taskings and deliverables
  • Planning and directing multi-disciplinary teams across multiple task areas
  • Managing and deploying project resources
  • Overall financial and administrative aspects of the program
  • Coordinate program management reviews with government and corporate leadership to discuss contract performance and issue resolution
  • Fulfilling the task management deliverables within the contract SOW;
  • Coordinate with other task leads to ensure specific deliverables are being completed within the agreed timelines and communicating any discovered risks and mitigation plans with the Government.

The PM requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience as a PM or other managerial positions
  • Current PMP certification or relevant education in lieu of certification
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and leadership skills
  • Experience providing technical and strategic direction to program team
  • Demonstrated experience managing, staffing and successfully executing a large IT/Cyber program (60+ FTE) for the federal government
  • Understanding and experience with federal contracting
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience in Cybersecurity - security monitoring, analysis and/or incident response, vulnerability management, Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
  • CISSP certification or equivalent
  • DHS EOD preferred


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
