How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Create detailed project plans for certification activities and determining the critical path to ensure focus on the right activities
- Manage planning and completion of certification activities from initial application through final type certificate issuance and into production certification
- Identification and management of certification related risks
- Develop tracking tools to show certification status and progress for communication across the organization
Minumum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineeringor related technical field
- 10+ years of program management experience in civil aviation aircraft development and certification
- Working knowledge of the activities and sequencing required to complete an aircraft or engine certification project
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with team members throughout the organization
- Excellent ability to be organized without predetermined structure
- Able to be a pragmatic and creative thinker when solving complex problems in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to be a team player and wear different hats on different days depending on the need
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for multi-stakeholder technical environments
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft products including Microsoft Project and 365/office (SharePoint, Outlook, Calendar, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience coordinating or performing certification or verification testing
- Experience preparing compliance data in support of commercial certification
- Experience working on Initial Type design approvals with the FAA
