Description

TrueNAS is redefining enterprise storage by delivering proven data resilience, performance, and flexibility without the complexity or constraints of legacy solutions. As the most deployed storage platform in the world, TrueNAS already powers critical data storage infrastructure for businesses, research institutions, and government agencies across 140+ countries and millions of users. Our mission is simple: to become the most trusted name in data storage.

Originally founded in Silicon Valley in 2002 under the name iXsystems, TrueNAS is a profitable, independent company with a culture rooted in trust, curiosity, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Whether you work remotely or on-site, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration and meaningful impact - where people come before profit, and bold ideas drive the future of data infrastructure.

If you’re ready to help shape the future of enterprise storage, we’d love to connect.

Position Overview: The Program Manager, Business Operations (Front-End) serves as a dedicated business operations partner to Sales, Marketing, and Product Lifecycle Management, driving high-impact operational improvements and systems optimization across these critical front-end functions. This role bridges business strategy and execution—translating the needs of Sales, Marketing, and Product teams into structured programs that optimize processes, implement enabling technologies (Salesforce CRM, Arena PLM, marketing automation platforms), and remove organizational friction. You will own end-to-end program delivery for vendor selection, software implementation, and business process redesign, ensuring these front-end teams have the systems, data, and operational rigor to achieve their business objectives. Success requires deep partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Product VPs, the ability to become fluent in their operational challenges, and the judgment to recommend solutions that balance business need, cost, and implementability.

Our environment is fast-growing and high-ownership: priorities shift, problems are complex, and teams rely on you to translate ambiguity into clear action plans. You will operate as a systems expert and trusted advisor—not a process enforcer. Success requires comfort with ambiguity, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders through clear operating rhythms and data-driven recommendations.
