Responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end SW program delivery – from scoping and planning through integration, verification, and customer ramp.
- Work across Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications to align the SW scope and schedule needs as well as the priorities driving the tradeoff choices within the development cycle as the need arises
- Build and maintain program schedules; track milestones, monitor and manage external dependencies(including other functions and third parties), surface risks early, and drive resolution of blocking issues across teams.
- Coordinate development dependencies between various SW teams - middleware, tools, verification, and application engineering teams.
- Serve as the primary interface to customers for SW release plans, delivery commitments, and issue escalations.
- Drive ASPICE compliance across SW projects; prepare teams for internal and third-party audits, enable any necessary certifications.
- Lead program reviews and status reporting to senior leadership; translate engineering progress into clear, decision-ready summaries.
- Partner with technical leads to scope new feature requests, estimate effort, and align resource capacity with roadmap commitments.
- Identify process inefficiencies in the SW delivery flow and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor project leads and engineers on program management practices, customer-facing communication as well as any other project specific planning and procurement needs
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
- 5-12 years of experience with project engineering/management experience on complex SW products/projects (Baremetal and LLOS)
- Proven leadership capabilities in working across multifaceted global organizations
- Successful proven track record in indirect management and influence
- Strong combination of technical, communication, execution and leadership capabilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of embedded SW development – C programming, RTOS concepts, MCU architecture (ARM Cortex-M/R), and SW build/integration flows.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture (MCAL, BSW, RTE, application layers) and automotive SW development lifecycle.
- Experience with functional safety standards and process frameworks: ISO 26262, ASPICE (CL2 or higher).
- Proficiency with program tracking tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Experience with defect triage processes, release management, and customer delivery workflows.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and set realistic plans based on required tasks with available resources
- Ability to effectively coordinate and lead global development teams on projects that include both New SW products, post production maintenance SW
- Ability to provide clear direction to both internal teams and external support organizations on project priorities in alignment with the business needs
- Proven program management skills – schedule management, risk identification, dependency tracking, and milestone ownership across multiple concurrent workstreams.
