Are you a market-savvy growth leader with a passion for building client relationships and winning complex, high-value work? AECOM is looking for a Business Line Growth Director to lead client engagement, pursuit excellence, and market positioning for our Program Management business line across ANZ.
This is a senior, externally facing role where you will champion strategic pursuits, shape client account strategies, and position AECOM as the partner of choice in priority markets. You'll work alongside the Sector Directors, Sector Managers and ANZ Growth Leads to drive bookings growth and elevate our presence across the region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and deepen client engagement with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners across priority markets.
- Own the business line's external market positioning — tracking trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to sharpen pursuit strategies.
- Partner with the Sector Directors, Growth Leads, and Client Account Managers to identify and win Enterprise Critical Pursuits (ECPs) and Tier 2 pursuits.
- Support and hold accountable Client Account Managers on client account plan delivery, growth targets, and relationship objectives.
- Represent AECOM in professional associations, industry forums, and sector events to build brand and create market opportunities.
- Drive thought leadership at key conferences and sector events.
- Apply best-practice capture processes — go/no-go decisions, pre-positioning, capture planning, proposal development, risk management, and governance.
- Embed enterprise capabilities, digital solutions, and workshare opportunities into key pursuits.
- Contribute targeted market intelligence to the BL strategic plan and track progress against forecasts and bookings.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and programs.
- Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaborations.
Business Development:
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Strong network within the ANZ market, particularly in relevant industries.

- Deep understanding of market dynamics, business strategy, and competitive positioning across Program Management in Australia. Supports data-informed decisions that balance growth with operational discipline.
