Te Whiwhinga a mahi | The opportunity
Boeing provides Sustainment Services to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). Boeing is currently seeking to recruit to the role of Program Integration Manager (PIM) to support Boeing platforms including the P-8A Poseidon. Based at RNZAF Base Ohakea, this role is integral to the successful program management of the services delivered to the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure conformance to Boeing’s values and policies, especially in relation to workplace safety, equity and diversity and environmental management.
- Support the Program Manager in the execution of Customer Relationship Management by ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of the project and program status and performance.
- Proactively identify and meet customer's requirements, build productive relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction.
- Drive the performance and execution of program management disciplines, communication and engagement with our primary customers
- Support and collaborate with geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined teams for planning and execution of sustainment services and modification projects.
- Support and direct all phases of assigned projects, both executing and emerging, across the program portfolio.
- Provide the vital conduit to the internal functions such as Human Resources, Quality, Environment Health and Safety, Security, Facilities, Trade Controls, Data Management and Training.
- Identify and manage Risk, Issues and Opportunities for assigned projects including proactive escalation and resolution of "Help needed".
- Ensure effective coordination of all priority issues to meet operational schedules.
- Monitor project and program performance to ensure the optimal delivery and achievement of project and program goals.
- Ensure accurate recording of metrics for the availability performance of the program.
- Support the timely distribution of technical and business reports to the leadership team and customer
- Lead regular review meetings with senior stakeholders to demonstrate project progress.

- Demonstrated proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted industry project management standards.
- Understanding of civil or defence airworthiness standards would be highly regarded.
- Self-starter with initiative and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated collaborative qualities and ability to exert influence at multiple organisational levels.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
Experience/Qualifications
- At least 10-years’ experience in civil or defence aviation engineering or maintenance environment
- Formal Project Management, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications are desired, however, prior experience will be considered.
