The Role

Liquid Agency is seeking a seasoned and strategic Program Director to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives for one of our long-standing clients in the logistics and packaging space. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in the U.S. and be available during core West Coast business hours. 

If you thrive on orchestrating big-picture program delivery while mentoring others, have deep agency experience across brand, strategy, and creative, and love empowering teams to do their best work - this role is for you.

As a Program Director, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary delivery across a high-volume, integrated account. You’ll manage a direct report  and be accountable for timelines, budgets, resource plans, margin health, and scope- from kickoff to execution - while upholding Liquid’s standard of excellence. 

What you’ll do:

Provide strategic leadership for a high-value enterprise account, partnering with C-level stakeholders (both client- and agency-side) to define goals, shape annual roadmaps, and ensure program alignment with business objectives.

Develop and oversee integrated plans (SOWs, budgets, resource allocation, and schedules) spanning multiple workstreams, balancing project-level details with larger program vision.

Manage multi-million-dollar engagements by driving scope definition, accurate forecasting, budget assessments, and proactive change management.

Lead cross-functional teams across creative, strategy, production, and client services—ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables at every stage of the program lifecycle.

Mentor and grow Project Managers and Senior PMs, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Build strong internal and external relationships with executive stakeholders, serving as the primary liaison for progress updates, risk mitigation, and strategic guidance.

Champion consistent processes and best practices, optimizing workflow, margin goals, and overall program health while maintaining transparency with key partners in Finance, Operations, and Resource Management.

Serve as the go-to resource for resolving complex delivery challenges, ensuring seamless execution, and maintaining a high bar for production excellence.


What you bring:

6+ years of agency experience leading multi-million dollar brand, strategy, and marketing programs

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships

Hands-on experience with project financials, revenue forecasting, and $1M+ program budgets

Expertise in project scoping, resource management, vendor contracts, and delivery operations

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership style

Comfortable with both high-level strategy and day-to-day tactical delivery

Experience managing direct reports and mentoring team members

Curiosity, empathy, and confidence - with the ability to both inspire and be inspired
