The Program Associate supports the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of organizational projects and programs. Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Implementation
• Support the design, planning, and implementation of projects and activities in line with approved work plans and budgets.
• Coordinate day-to-day program activities and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
• Assist in organizing training, workshops, meetings, and community engagement sessions.
• Support field activities and monitor implementation progress against targets.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, donor requirements, and humanitarian principles.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
• Collect, compile, and verify program data and information from field teams and partners.
• Support routine monitoring visits and follow-up on recommendations.
• Maintain activity records, beneficiary databases, and project documentation.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reports.
• Assist in documenting lessons learned, success stories, case studies, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination
• Liaise with government agencies, community leaders, partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate program implementation.
• Participate in coordination meetings, working groups, and sector forums as required.
• Support beneficiary feedback and accountability mechanisms.
• Maintain positive relationships with partners and communities.
Administrative and Logistics Support
• Coordinate logistics arrangements for meetings, trainings, and field missions.
• Support procurement requests and activity-related documentation.
• Maintain organized files and records for projects and program activities.
• Assist with travel arrangements and activity scheduling.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
• Ensure activities are implemented according to approved guidelines and standards.
• Support monitoring of program indicators and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits, donor visits, and evaluations.
• Promote safeguarding, gender equality, inclusion, and accountability to affected populations.
Other Responsibilities
• Represent the organization professionally during meetings and field engagements.
• Support proposal development, assessments, and project start-up activities when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Program Manager or Head of Programs.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, International Development, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in program implementation, project coordination, or humanitarian/development work.
• Experience in report writing, stakeholder engagement, and data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital data collection tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, International Development, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program implementation, project coordination, or humanitarian/development work
- Experience in report writing, stakeholder engagement, and data management
