Beyond Grad Program

Overall Function:
The Monessen Beyond Grad Program is seeking enthusiastic and responsible junior and senior students to join our team as Program Assistants. In this role, students will work under the direction of the Program Supervisor to support weekly program activities, distribute assignments and announcements, and assist with other duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of weekly program activities.
- Distribute assignments, announcements, and other materials to students, faculty, and administrators.
- Provide logistical support during program sessions, ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
- Maintain accurate records of distributed materials and completed tasks.
- Communicate effectively with the Program Supervisor and team members regarding tasks and updates.
- Serve as a positive representative of the Monessen Beyond Grad Program.
- Adhere to all policies, laws, regulations, and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current junior or senior at Monessen High School.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Dependable and committed to fulfilling assigned responsibilities.
- Must obtain appropriate work permit paperwork from their home school.Must successfully obtain criminal clearance from the PA State Police, FBI Fingerprint Clearances and Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services.
- Must not be excluded in participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care programs.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, Inc. (SPHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing health and social service needs throughout the southwestern Pennsylvania region. It provides a comprehensive system of health and human services, including acute care, behavioral health, rehabilitation, home care, child care, aging programs, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, and homeless assistance.
