About the Role

Our client is an established Swiss manufacturer operating in the luxury precision-components industry, combining specialized craftsmanship with advanced industrial production methods. The company manages highly detailed manufacturing processes where consistency, visual quality, and technical precision are essential.

We are looking for an experienced Production Unit Manager to oversee a specialized manufacturing activity, combining technical expertise, production management, process improvement, and team supervision. The role will be responsible for production performance, industrialization of new references, quality consistency, and first-level technical problem solving.

CONTRACT: Permanent

LOCATIONS: On-site, Neuchâtel canton, Switzerland

NOTES: Fluent French and English B2 is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational performance of a specialized precision-manufacturing unit.
  • Optimize the use of equipment, materials, and workforce to meet production and quality targets.
  • Coordinate production priorities according to delivery requirements.
  • Supervise and support a small technical production team.
  • Ensure strict application of manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the industrialization of new products and references.
  • Evaluate tooling and raw-material requirements for new production activities.
  • Establish robust manufacturing processes that ensure consistent product quality.
  • Provide first-level technical support for production issues and workshop anomalies.
  • Contribute technical expertise during the development and preparation of new product concepts.

Requirements
  • Technical vocational qualification or equivalent manufacturing education.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in precision manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with specialized production or material-application processes on high-precision components, especially SuperLumiNova
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, process control, and production quality.
  • Experience coordinating production priorities, resources, tooling, and materials.
  • Experience supervising or technically leading production employees.
  • Strong practical troubleshooting and process-improvement capabilities.
  • Fluent French.

Skills Required
