This is for 3rd Shift

Will report to Director or Manufacturing

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of manufacturing personnel to ensure efficient production operations
- Work with department leads to develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Train, mentor, and motivate manufacturing staff to achieve performance goals
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role in a automotive metal manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems and related tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role at a automotive metal manufacturing facility
  • Previous machining experience required
  • CNC Machining experience
  • Previous experience in 5S or Lean Manufacturing required
