What Will You Do?
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members on assigned shifts.
- Deliver production plan outlined in the schedule and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance performance and engagement.
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Inspect materials and products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (Maintenance, Quality, Planning, etc.).
- Enforce company policies and disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Drive utilization improvements by analyzing data by operation, communicate and coach operators on best practices based on this data.
- Physical requirements of the role include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; working manufacturing environment conditions.
- Protective equipment must be worn as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
