Who We're Looking For
Reporting to the Assistant Site Manager, the Production Supervisor will play a ‘hands on’ role in the daily manufacturing management to ensure that we deliver exceptional quality and value to our customers within the expected timescales.
As a Production Supervisor, you will;
- Supervise a team of up to 30 within the Upholstery production area via process improvements, resolving workflow issues, resource planning and best practice to ensure departmental targets are achieved.
- Oversee the supply chain to ensure no disruption to production and service, whilst maximising any cost saving potential.
- Work alongside Product and Operational teams to ensure products exceed industry standards, company policies and technical standards.
- Develop and manage the team through training plans and developing talent.
- Conduct daily floor walks, audits and follow the Health & Safety processes.
- Undertake key decision making in relation to commercial decisions, supplier issues and introduction of new models.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of lean manufacturing practices from an Upholstery/ furniture making background.
You’ll have experience of running a Production line and be able to lead your team to deliver against manufacturing KPIs.

Skills Required
