Job Description

We are seeking a production scheduler to work in one of our locations. As a production scheduler you will be responsible to plan and prepare production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products. You will be responsible for the following activities: 

  • Establishing sequence and lead-time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
  • Monitoring stocking levels to ensure all materials ship or consumed before expiration of shelf life
  • Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
  • Planing and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Expediting operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Preparing production reports
  • Preparing lists of required materials
  • Preparing purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment
  • Performing weekly and monthly inventory of all supplies and prepares purchase requisitions

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a 4 years college degree
  • Have 2 - 5 years of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
  • Have attention to detail
  • Demonstrate SAP S4/HANA Knowledge
  • Show understanding Material Resource Planning
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Understanding of warehouse management
  • Some production experience
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Experience within the Ink industry
