Job Purpose:
- The Production Roller at GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF DALLAS INC plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission by efficiently processing donated goods. This position contributes to the overall success of the not-for-profit charitable operations by ensuring that goods are prepared for sale in a timely and organized manner, ultimately helping to fund programs that benefit the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate rolling machines to process donated textiles and other materials for resale.
- Sort and categorize items according to established guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on processed items to ensure they meet organizational standards.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately recording processed goods.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe workplace.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on best practices and organizational policies.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience working with machinery or equipment is advantageous

- Strong attention to detail and quality control
