Position Summary:
The Production Roller plays a key role in supporting store operations by ensuring a consistent flow of merchandise from the production area to the sales floor. This position is responsible for rotating, rolling out, and stocking priced merchandise and produce in a timely and organized manner. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on their feet for extended periods and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Roll out priced merchandise from the production area to the sales floor on a rotating basis.
• Ensure merchandise is neatly and accurately stocked in designated areas.
• Maintain awareness of product rotation schedules to ensure freshness and relevance.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate effectively with the store management regarding inventory flow and floor needs.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with shoppers, answering questions or directing them to appropriate staff as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and backroom.
• Meet or exceed hourly production goals for pricing and merchandise output.
• Provide general support to the production area as needed.
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Prior customer service experience, preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
Preferred/Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail or warehouse experience is a plus but is not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as pushing carts and stocking shelves.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Work Environment:
• This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
• Work is performed in both the production and retail areas of the store.
• May be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED
