- The Production Planner will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer demands.

- Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, work in progress, and resources.
- Generate and provide work orders to production.
- Establish due dates for each step of production.
- Update ERP to track progress of production activities, including planned hours, task completion, etc.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any production issues and delays.
- Generate regular reports on production performance and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate internal and external quality inspections.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment producing custom products would be a plus.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Operate within a fast paced environment with a strong skillset in prioritizing tasks.
- Experience with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Operate within the manufacturing environment.
Educational Requirements/Degree(s):
High school diploma required.
