Sola Wood Flowers is hiring a Production Manager to lead daily production at our Kolkata facility.
Every order on our floor is a countdown to someone's wedding day. The date does not move. There is no second shipment. Our Production Manager is the person who makes sure the floor delivers, every single day.

Sola Wood Flowers makes affordable, eco-friendly wooden flowers, all handcrafted. Our flowers now appear in more than 6% of American weddings each year, and we are building a modernized, vertically integrated platform north of $100M across DTC, owned retail, and wholesale. India is a growing part of how we make it.
The reality of the role
This is a hands-on production leadership job. You are on the floor, not behind a desk. You work beside your team leads while problems are happening, not after the weekly report lands. If you want a quiet 9-to-5, this is the wrong job.
What you will own
- Daily production across the Kolkata facility: output, quality, staffing, and process improvement.
- Volume and lead-time targets. On-time delivery on every wedding order, because a wedding date never moves.
- Building your team leads. Success is a floor that runs well when you are not there.
- Finding the constraint before it costs us a shipping day.
- Lean and kaizen discipline. Less waste, better throughput, better unit economics as we scale.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on experience managing production or manufacturing operations, ideally in handcrafted, labor-intensive environments.
- Experience leading large hourly teams.
- Comfort running the floor by the numbers. Excel/Sheets fluency will come up in the interview.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- On-site daily in Kolkata.
- Able to provide references.
