Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Production Lab Administrator to join our prototyping lab team! This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, proactive, and interested in supporting hands-on technical work in a dynamic environment. The position begins as part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance, organizational needs, and your interest in expanded responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
Day-to-Day (Part-Time):
Procure supplies, materials, and equipment needed for prototyping lab operations
Maintain accurate records for monthly reconciliations of purchases
Manage and maintain up-to-date inventory records for lab supplies and equipment
Create and process shipping labels for outbound packages and deliveries
Coordinate with vendors and track orders to ensure timely delivery
Organize and maintain a clean, efficient lab workspace and storage areas
Assist with receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming shipments
Follow all lab safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Potential Expanded Responsibilities (Full-Time):
Assemble electronic components, including wire harnesses and integration into enclosures
Support additional lab operations and production tasks as needed
Take on expanded duties aligned with your skills, initiative, and areas of interest

5+ years of relevant work experience in an administrative, inventory, or lab support role

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods (as required for lab work)
