The position
As Production Finance Partner, you will be responsible for the financial management of inbound materials used in the internal manufacturing. This role focuses on Novo Nordisk's direct spend supplier network that plays a strategic role for the company, with significant growth also added from acquisition activities.
Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a Trusted Finance Business Partner to the business area, being acknowledged for your strong stakeholders and communication skills
  • Driving the financial management by proactively driving alignment with line of business on the financial plan, product costing, inventory, raw material consumption, purchase price variance, production variance, scrap, inventory provisions, etc.
  • Ensuring Financial Compliance and House in Order by aligning on accounting treatment and cost classifications with Global Finance team
  • Driving continuous improvement of financial and control processes, further strengthening the connection between business plans, activities, and resources to ensure value creation
  • Being a key player in driving our systems and standards to the next level and setting the scene for further analyses


Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you:

  • Hold a master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, coupled with hands-on experience in a comparable role within a large organisation
  • Demonstrate a strong financial background and a process-oriented mindset with an interest to map, streamline, and optimise processes
  • Showcase a structured way with a sharp eye for details and thrive in setting direction for finance integration and handling of product costing
  • Possess solid stakeholder management and collaboration skills, along with good communication and presentation abilities
  • Display proficiency in both written and spoken English

About the Department
You will be joining a finance team consisting of 27-30 members, where half of the people are non-Danish coming from 11 different countries. We drive the financial management and investment governance for the SVP area called External Supply in Novo Nordisk.
The department is split into three team: Business Finance, Investment Management, and Production Finance. This position resides in the later and is reporting directly to the Director.
You will become part of a team that is driven, highly experienced, and dedicated to helping each other shine as well as caring for one another.
