About the department
The Koriyama Factory (KFA) Production Engineering & Facilities (PE&F) department is a vital component of the organization, overseeing the management and development of production engineering processes and facilities. The department plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the production infrastructure at KFA. This involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of production facilities, as well as leading the engineering initiatives to optimize production processes. The department focuses on driving innovation, reliability, and sustainable practices within the production environment, aligning its efforts with the broad er methodical g oals of the organization.
The position
As a Production Engineering Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of production engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety in the production area.
  • Monitor and assess production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering with thorough comprehension in electrical and mechanical fields.
  • Experience as manager with strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English at a business level is essential.
