Production Coordinator
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Bracknell HQ
Help make some of the UK's biggest live productions happen! Behind every successful outside broadcast is a huge amount of planning, bringing together the right people, equipment, travel, logistics and information at exactly the right time.
NEP UK is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team in Bracknell and play an important part in making that happen.
Working across a varied schedule of high-profile sport, entertainment and live productions, you'll help coordinate the people and logistics behind our outside broadcasts, working closely with Technical Project Managers, Heads of Department, crew, freelancers and teams across NEP.
If you're exceptionally organised, enjoy a fast-moving environment and get satisfaction from making sure everything comes together, this could be a great opportunity to build your career within live production.
The Role
As a Production Coordinator, you'll be involved in projects from the planning stages through to delivery, making sure our production teams have the people, travel arrangements, accreditation and information they need.
No two productions are quite the same. You'll often be coordinating several projects at once, balancing changing requirements and deadlines while keeping colleagues and crew informed.
It's a role where attention to detail matters, but so does being able to see the bigger picture, anticipate what is needed next and find solutions when plans change.
What You'll Be Doing
-
Coordinate people and logistics – support the scheduling and booking of crew, freelancers, travel and accommodation, ensuring everyone has the information they need ahead of each production.
-
Keep productions moving – coordinate planning sheets, rig schedules, accreditation and other key production information, working closely with Technical Project Managers, Heads of Department and operational teams.
-
Manage the detail – raise purchase orders for freelancers and suppliers, support invoice processing and maintain accurate, accessible project documentation and records.
-
Solve problems and improve how we work – respond to changing requirements, help resolve issues quickly and look for opportunities to make our planning and coordination more efficient and cost-effective.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
You'll ideally bring:
-
Strong coordination skills – able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
-
Confident communication – comfortable working with crew, freelancers and colleagues across different areas of the business.
-
A solutions-focused approach – someone who stays calm, thinks ahead and takes ownership when plans change.
-
Good systems skills – confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience of scheduling or production systems such as ScheduALL or Easyjob is beneficial.
Experience within outside broadcast, television, live events or another fast-paced production environment would be valuable, but we're equally interested in strong coordinators who can bring transferable skills and are keen to learn the broadcast industry.
Why NEP?
Be part of live production - you'll play a direct role in helping deliver some of the UK's most recognised sporting, entertainment and live broadcast events.
Build your career - you'll develop valuable experience across production planning, crewing, logistics and outside broadcast operations, with opportunities to broaden your knowledge and career within NEP.
Variety from day one - different clients, productions, locations and requirements mean you'll continually be learning and solving new challenges.
Work across the business - you'll build relationships with Technical Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, Heads of Department, crew and freelancers, giving you broad exposure to how complex live productions come together.
Working at NEP UK
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Gemini House headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire. Although we're a global 24/7 business delivering the moments that capture the World, the standard working week for this role is 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday between core hours of 9am to 6pm.
You'll also have access to NEP UK's wider benefits package, including pension, private medical insurance, life and income protection, training and development opportunities, Employee Assistance Programme, dental, Home & Tech scheme, and Cycle to Work scheme.
Ready to Get Behind the Production?
If you're organised, proactive and enjoy bringing people and plans together, and you'd like to do that in an industry where no two productions are quite the same, we'd love to hear from you.
