JOB PURPOSE:
Nightshift operator. Operate machines requiring limited interrelated adjustments with detailed procedures in manufacturing layouts, engineering specifications, similar operating procedures, or work instructions, including but not limited to, inspection; basic care and cleaning of equipment and work area to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work any shift or work schedule. Some technical schools are desirable. Employees are expected to serve as role models for safe work practices and behaviors. This includes following established health and safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean, organized work area, wearing, properly storing all personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively engaging as a safety conscious worker with personal safety and wellness as a priority. Must be efficient, disciplined, and self-motivated to reach the daily goals (Key Performance Indicators).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Having the functional capacity to perform efficiently and safely in each job assignment required. Perform a wide variety of bench and assembly work. Operate machines requiring limited interrelated adjustments with detailed procedures in manufacturing layouts, engineering specifications, or similar operating procedures. Assist in the loading, unloading, string-up, set-up, and operation of complex machines. Test and inspect in-process and completed products. Cable material handling duties requiring the operation of all types of material handling equipment. Receive, store, stage and ship all types of materials and products. Excellent communication skills amongst team members required. Perform work assignments alongside team, with the lead, and supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.
