APL Engineered Materials is looking for a Production Assistant to clean and inspect custom glassware used in chemical manufacturing and assist with production setup and cleanup. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and reliable attendance. Manufacturing or lab experience is preferred but not required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning custom glassware for chemical manufacturing.
- Expected to work in a safe/responsible manner with chemicals and fragile glass.
- Monitor glassware for cracks or imperfections.
- Assist production with set-up and clean-up operations as needed.
- Provide and manage a safe and accident-free work environment by complying with all company safety rules while performing job duties.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Additional duties assigned as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
