The Production Administrator provides essential support to the Design Department's production team, including CNC Operators, Acrylic Fabricators, 3D Printing Fabricators, and 3D Printer Technicians. Key Responsibilities:
- Support CNC Operators, Acrylic Fabricators, 3D Printing Fabricators, and 3D Printer Technicians in daily production activities.
- Assist in the preparation and management of 3D files, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with printing and fabrication equipment.
- Coordinate production schedules to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain detailed production records, including job tracking, material usage, and machine maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with design, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies related to CNC machining, acrylic fabrication, and 3D printing, and report shortages.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic technical issues with CNC machines, 3D printers, and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Provide administrative support such as preparing reports, filing documents, and coordinating meetings related to production activities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, or related field preferred.
- Experience in production support or administration within CNC, acrylic fabrication, or 3D printing environments is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of CNC machining, acrylic fabrication processes, and 3D printing technology.
- Familiarity with 3D file formats and preparation software (e.g., CAD, slicing software).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and production management softwar
Skills Required
