Scholly, one of Built In’s “Best Places to Work 2022”, is seeking a Vice President of Product Experience to join our growing team! In this newly created role, the VP of Product Experience will be responsible for aligning the expectations of both the product and the business by creating a product vision and strategy to address current and future market needs. The VP of Product Experience will manage the teams responsible for the full product lifecycle of all Scholly products and work closely with internal stakeholders while enforcing a culture of best practices. The VP of Product Experience will work remotely and report to the CTO.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Set short- and long-term strategies with far reaching impact for the Product team.
  • Generate high level insights from formative research, market gaps, or technical insights.
  • Partner closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.
  • Understand customer needs and gather product requirements. Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy.
  • Create and implement processes and procedures for product strategy and translating visions into technical work streams.
  • Design and drive the overall vision and product strategy to a coherent whole.
  • Build and work in an Agile and Kanban process and implement tracking and insights for product management.

  • Identify and execute projects focused on eliminating waste and delay, cost reduction, and accelerating delivery.

 

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

We look for people who value agility, passion, and teamwork. Bring your expertise and build upon what you do best for our customers, partners, team, and you. To do this, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of Technical Product Management experience.
  • Experience driving elements of the product development lifecycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch.
  • Experience managing people and establishing processes and procedures.
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
  • Experience effectively working with multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance and Marketing.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with FinTech or related industry preferred.
