The Technical Product Owner II ("TPO") is a product visionary who ensures teams are utilizing investments to drive growth and efficiency and help Hanesbrands deliver on its Full Potential strategy. The TPO co-leads an agile team, partnering with a product owner on the business side to for a greater capability, ensuring alignment and consistency in product management. The TPO should be fairly familiar with agile processes and product management in both theory and in practice. The TPO owns the roadmap and backlog for our eCommerce deliver and returns process and sets operational objectives for the agile team, guiding them through complex problem solving to ensure the team's OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are met. The agile team serves the needs of Hanesbrand's global B2C eCommerce businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Helps guide Global Digital Investments based on apparel eCommerce fulfillment industry and market trends and needs
  • Knows industry best practices, solutions, and emerging trends; leads the organization in that direction regardless of organizational boundaries
  • Partners to develop and communicate the product strategy and product roadmap
  • Collaboratively develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business investments
  • Works closely with stakeholders to ensure Objectives, Key Results and Customer Satisfaction targets are met
  • Onboard key talent and empower and inspire teams to realize their full potential
  • Problems faced are somewhat difficult and may be complex in nature
  • Works with Scrum Master to ensure Agile and Scrum practices are followed by the team
  • Works at a fast pace and embraces agility
  • Possesses business knowledge and has applied experience in product issue analysis and problem solving
  • Frames choices and tradeoffs for leadership
  • Communicates at all levels of the organization
  • Provides input on hiring and team development
  • Works independently with some supervision
  • Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate- or short-term operational results of the department.



Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business/MIS or Masters in Business Administration preferred
  • 1+ years product owner experience
  • 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of Agile principles and process
  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Knowledge of enterprise grade eCommerce platforms (ideally Magento 2) and solutions covering post order fulfillment, tracking, communications and returns. Knowledge of legacy and modern ERP systems (ideally SAP & S4/Hana) and warehouse management systems (ideally Manhattan).
  • Knowledge of the operations of eCommerce distribution centers.
  • Ability to facilitate and contribute to vision and roadmap for global eCommerce fulfillment capabilities including some collaboration with senior executive leaders
  • Some experience with building and managing key integration areas between eCommerce, ERP and warehouse management systems; experience with modern distributed order management systems.
  • Skill in building strong internal relationships with eCommerce business leaders to define and understand strategic and tactical objectives
  • Ability to contribute to vision and roadmap for global fulfillment technology
