At Cogo Labs, we build companies from scratch. We're a collaborative team of engineers, analysts, and entrepreneurs using innovative tools, big data, and intellectual curiosity to build a platform that spins up successful online businesses.
We're hunting for an experienced technical product manager to partner with our data scientists and engineers to build the features and products which will accelerate our incubated companies. At Cogo, we move fast and iterate quickly. You might be leading a team building a chatbot, launching a new digital marketplace, or driving the implementation of a novel machine learning product. You will help develop product strategy and will be given ownership over execution with the opportunity to directly affect business success.
What to expect from Cogo:

\- Near obsessive use of data to inform business decisions. We believe that efficient growth happens when we make every decision based on solid, well directed analysis
\- Unmatched opportunity. We believe in mentoring people to grow as quickly as they can and rewarding them with increased responsibility
\- Flexibility and novelty. Your role will define itself over time, as you identify the problems that you are uniquely capable of solving
\- A fun, supportive culture. Happy employees are the most successful. We take care of our own, and not just because it's good business
\- The ability to take big swings. We are a successful company today due to the great ideas that have been generated and executed by our phenomenal Cogo team
About you:
\- 5+ years of product management experience

\- An undergraduate degree in science, engineering or math

\- Comfortable in a technical conversation (you understand coding principles and can query a database)
\- You have experience drafting product specs and communicating your vision to engineers
\- You can create structure from ambiguity. Not only do you know how to solve problems, you know how to define them
-A focus on end-users. You have the product-sense and empathy required to build products tailored to the needs of the market. You know how to develop frameworks to prioritize features with the highest ROI
-You are a scientist at heart. You know that a theory is only as good as your ability to prove or disprove it
\- Bonus points for experience in building or launching Internet companies
If you're reading this and questioning whether you should apply, please do! There's no such thing as a perfect candidate, and we don't expect you to check every box. We're inspired by the uniqueness that people like you bring to the table. The companies that we incubate are only as innovative as the breadth of lived experiences shared by the teams building them. We can't wait to read your application!
