Job Description:
Summary

  • Lead multiple Agile teams and interacts with 50+ business partners across GWIM and Consumer digital data user community. Acts as single point of contact for incoming requests into the team and triages them accordingly by working with the scrum masters and developers within the team, as well as any external partners that might need to be consulted. User community consists of members from Digital Analytics, Digital Reporting, Digital Marketing, Digital Sales, and Product Analytics. Will play a key role in migrating from our legacy digital data sources to future state data environment. Responsible for maximizing the value for digital data. Defines the vision and roadmap for the data, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment. Is experienced in the role of a Product Owner, expert of the product, and has a deep understanding of the business or technology domain. Creates the vision and roadmap for the data to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain. Communicates the vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and drives user adoption. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and aligns them on priorities. Experienced with cross-functional teams. Creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog. Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints. Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. Mentors less experienced Product Owners. Individual contributor.


Required Skills

  • 3+ years' experience as a business analyst or project manager
  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management & Technology, Computer Science etc.)
  • 3+ years of advanced SQL experience and understanding of relational databases
  • Must have a working knowledge of Agile software delivery practices
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite software skills (Excel, Access, SharePoint) Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Requires exceptional organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail and timeline management
  • Certifications in Agile Product or Scrum Management
  • Ability to communicate with both business and technology partners effectively


Desired Skills

  • Experience with Oracle, Tableau, Teradata, Autosys, Informatica, and Data Management tools
  • Knowledge of Global Technology, Enterprise Data Management & Enterprise Data Architecture programs, strategies and standards
  • 3+ years of service in the financial industry with reporting and project management experience
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products, particularly Jira and Confluence
  • Product management experience or similar demonstrated success in delivering solutions with competing stakeholder needs
