Job Summary:Background
The rapidly growing Disney Streaming Services Platform Product team is seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager with analytical drive, product intuition, and entrepreneurial spirit. The Consumer Profiles & Identity is responsible for accounts, profiles, personalization and permissions that power Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu and other Disney consumer products.
Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting the long-term Consumer Identity vision working closely with Engineering, Legal and other Product Teams to help scale personalized experiences across Disney Streaming and deliver a global impact by giving users more control of their data.
You will inform the discovery and prioritization of new features, help develop user-focused and legally-compliant solutions, and partner with teams across the organization to support launch and roll-out activities.
Responsibilities:

  • Define product requirements that factor in user needs and pain points, legal requirements, the policy landscape, and business strategy.
  • Support the User Identity vision by translating long term goals into short term tactical features
  • Secure alignment from Legal, Privacy, Engineering and Product partners to prioritize new features
  • Partner with Marking Technology teams to improve our communication channels and honor the latest user consent choices
  • Support the Global Expansion and Localization team with new requirements that meet local/regulatory needs
  • Conduct market research to evaluate best practice and identity new opportunities
  • Support and utilize user research to inform and continually improve our products
  • Actively listen to, read, and comprehend stakeholder issues, concerns, and requirements
  • Clearly and concisely present complex problems and solutions to stakeholders using oral and written communication channels.
  • Define and track Identity metrics, reviewing data to identify new opportunities for innovation

Key Experience:

  • Prior Product Management experience
  • Previous experience in identity, personalization or user profiles, preferred.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous experience of product development lifecycle with demonstrable examples of supporting discovery and launches
  • Evidence of driving customer-first, user focused product experiences
  • Strong analytical abilities having previously relied on both qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions
